Die 100% natürliche Zahnpflege für Katzen aus Matatabi Holz. Dieses Spielzeug wird in Asien seit Jahrhunderten von Katzen geliebt. Matatabi-Sticks verfügen über ätherische Öle, dessen Duftstoffe bei Katzen euphorische Reaktionen auslösen können. Beim genüsslichen Herumkauen wird Zahnstein reduziert und Mundgeruch vorgebeugt.

Gewicht:

  • ca. 30 g

Eigenschaften:

  • Natürliches, unbehandeltes Matatabi-Holz (Actinidia polygama), auch unter Japanischer Strahlengriffel oder Japanische Katzenminze bekannt
  • Gilt als das stärkste und wirksamste aller Katzenkräuter. Selbst Katzen, die Katzenminze ignorieren, werden Matatabi meist nicht widerstehen können.

Wirkung:

  • Matatabi löst ähnlich wie Katzenminze eine katzentypische Komfortreaktion aus (sog. Catnip Response). 
  • Typische Verhaltensweisen sind lecken, speicheln, sich reiben und wälzen sowie erhöhte Spiellust.
  • Es ist unbedenklich, wenn die Katze kleine Mengen Matatabi beim Herumkauen verschluckt. In großen Mengen kann es aber vorübergehendes Unwohlsein mit Erbrechen oder Durchfall verursachen.
  • Aufgrund der euphorischen Reaktionen sollte man die Katze nicht unbeaufsichtigt mit Matatabi-Sticks spielen lassen und die Dauer des Spiels begrenzen.

Aufbewahrung:

  • Wir empfehlen, die Matatabi-Sticks nach dem Spielen in der wiederverschließbaren Verpackung aufzubewahren und trocken zu lagern.
