Our cat steps are real little powerhouses and can hold up to 8 kg – ideal for normal-sized and agile cat breeds such as British Shorthairs, Burmese cats, Russian Blues, Siamese cats, or Turkish Angoras. If your cat is a little heavier or likes to jump high, we recommend our XL climbing steps. These can hold up to 12 kg. Please note: The load capacity also depends on the wall structure. The steps are particularly secure on stable concrete or brick walls.
A very valid question—because the condition of the wall determines the stability of STEPS. It is completely secure on concrete or solid stone walls. For older buildings or plasterboard walls, we recommend asking for suitable wall plugs at your local hardware store. Good to know: High-quality standard wall plugs and screws are included with every order.
Yes, you can replace the STEPS with the STEPS XL at any time. The drill holes are identical, so you don't need to drill new ones.
