Munich, May 16, 2023. The time has finally come again: LucyBalu, the label for trendy cat furniture and accessories, today officially announced the launch of the Catmodel Contest 2023. The competition brings together the most elegant, charming and photogenic cats in Europe, giving them the chance to showcase their beauty and unmatched style on social media. For the third time now, LucyBalu is on the hunt for unique, confident furballs ready to shine as cover model for GELIEBTE KATZE magazine and as a LucyBalu ambassador.

Only one velvet paw can reach the podium
Taking part in the Catmodel Contest 2023 couldn't be easier. Cat owners can register their fluffy models on the official LucyBalu website (click here to register). Entries are being accepted starting today, and the application deadline is June 18, 2023.
Afterwards, the Catlover community will select the best candidates on social media, giving them the chance to prove their talent in a glamorous final. To that end, LucyBalu will invite eight cats to Munich for a live photoshoot at the end of July. For shy cats or furry friends for whom the trip would be too stressful, there's also the option to take part in a home shoot in their own four walls.
The velvet paw that makes it to the podium will be rewarded with a wealth of prizes. The winning cat will serve as LucyBalu's brand ambassador for a year and land on the cover of Europe's most popular cat magazine, GELIEBTE KATZE. There's also furniture and accessories from LucyBalu to be won.
