This campaign, too, reflects our company philosophy: promoting animal welfare organizations and improving the lives of animals in shelters.

Donation for Tierheim Duisburg: The LucyBalu Advent Calendar

Every day in December, we opened a door on our Advent calendar. Behind each one, there were always plenty of special campaigns. On one of these days, our community got to nominate an animal shelter via Instagram that we would then equip with products. Many shelters were nominated on Instagram, but Tierheim Duisburg received the most votes from our community. Thanks to this incredible participation and the dedication of our followers, the cats at Tierheim Duisburg can now romp and relax on LucyBalu climbing walls.

The Current Situation at Tierheim Duisburg

In December, Tierheim Duisburg also faced a major challenge. A dangerous cat virus, parvovirus, had spread there, causing great concern among staff and animal lovers alike. The support therefore came at just the right time.

Despite these challenges, the team refuses to be discouraged and is working with all its strength to give animals without a home a better life. You can find more information about the animals and the shelter's work at the shelter's website.
