LucyBalu Catmodel Contest 2024: Interviews with Our Partners

As part of our exciting Catmodel Contest, we're delighted to have three official partners by our side: Lassie, Filu Vet, and PetLeo. We asked them a few questions to learn more about their mission, values, and inspirations. Here's a little behind-the-scenes look for you:

PetLeo: Digital Innovation for Pet Health

Founding and mission: PetLeo was founded in 2020 by Fulya Safak, Bülent Hacıoğlu, and Karim Abdo (pictured above). Fulya contributed her veterinary expertise, while Karim and Bülent brought their experience in e-health and software development. PetLeo has made it its mission to digitalize veterinary practices and improve animal welfare.

Values and everyday work: Respect and diversity are core values at PetLeo. A trusting environment and open communication shape their everyday work. Their goal is to relieve the workload of veterinarians and offer pet owners transparency and security.

Lassie: Focused on Prevention and Love for Animals

Founding and mission: Lassie was founded by Hedda, Sophie, and Johan (pictured above) to prevent health problems in pets before they arise. They combine Hedda's knowledge of pet health, Sophie's experience in the pet industry, and Johan's web development skills to create a revolutionary insurance and platform for pet parents.

Values and everyday work: Lassie's core values are prevention & love for animals, transparency, and helpfulness. They offer their customers comprehensive support and reward them for their efforts to keep their pets healthy with a bonus points system.

Inspiration for the partnership: Lassie and LucyBalu share the belief that prevention and the wellbeing of our four-legged friends should be the focus. The partnership with the Catmodel Contest supports this shared mission.

Filu Vet: A Modern Veterinary Practice with Heart

Founding and mission: Filu Vet was founded by Dr. med. vet. Anna Magdalena Naderer, Justus Richard Buchen, and Christian Uwe Köhler. Their goal is to establish a modern veterinary practice that offers first-class medical care and innovative technology.

Values and everyday work: Filu Vet places great importance on innovation, empathy, and excellence. Modern technology, loving care, and continuous training ensure the high quality of their work.
