Halloween on the Couch?!
We've got the 5 scariest movies for you and your furry companion.

We all know the feeling: as it gets colder and foggier outside and that cozy autumn mood sets in, all you want to do is curl up on the sofa all day with a warm cup of tea and watch a movie. And because we know this feeling so well, we want to recommend five spooky movies just in time for #spookyseason – perfect for any scary movie night. Of course, we couldn't leave our furry friends out of a cozy movie night, which is why we picked extra films that feature cats too. Pretty #catcrazy, right? With that in mind, let the curtain rise on five spooky movies right up our alley:

Coraline

Coraline and her family have just moved into a new house. While exploring it, Coraline finds a secret door that hides a parallel world behind it.
In this world, everything is far more colorful and beautiful than in dreary, real life. The only difference is that the people and animals in this colorful world have buttons instead of eyes. Only Coraline has normal eyes.
One day, Coraline meets a cat who is the only other creature in this world with normal eyes. He starts warning her about her mother – because behind her hides an old, spider-like woman who captures children's souls and enslaves them to fight off her loneliness. Trapped in the parallel world, this paradise slowly turns into a nightmare. But with the cat's help, Coraline tries to free herself from this nightmare…

Pet Sematary

Rachel and her children are visiting her parents when the family cat is found dead by a neighbor. To bury him, he's taken to a pet cemetery. The next day, the cat suddenly reappears at the family's house, but his nature seems to have changed in an unsettling way. Alongside small animals, he now also starts killing larger creatures like crows in a sadistic manner. Shortly after, the family's two-year-old son Gage dies. He's buried in the same cemetery as the cat. He, too, returns after his burial and starts killing the family's friends in gruesome ways. Yet Rachel and her husband still see their little boy in Church. But they're soon proven very wrong…

Wildwitch

Twelve-year-old Clara is a perfectly normal girl living a perfectly normal life with her mother in a Danish town. But one day, strange things start happening. A black cat follows Clara everywhere she goes, and she suddenly develops an unnaturally sharp sense of smell. When Clara and her friend Oskar get caught in an impenetrable fog on their way home one day, they hear the evil witch Chimera calling out, "Witch child, come to me!" After making their way through the fog and Clara arriving home, she's attacked and scratched by a cat. Clara suddenly falls ill. In her feverish dreams, she keeps hearing the witch calling for her. Once she recovers, Clara realizes she can mentally connect with animals. She quickly figures out that she must be a wildwitch. And so the unusual events take their course. Gradually, Clara bonds with the animals of nature and tries to come to terms with her new identity…

Scaredy Cat the Movie

A small, innocent-looking cat is home alone when a powerful thunderstorm suddenly surprises her in the middle of the night. Suddenly, the house transforms into a spooky haunted house. A mysterious ball of yarn leads the cat from room to room, with a haunting lurking around every corner. But the horror reaches its peak in the kitchen….

The Voices

Jerry suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, which leads him to have frequent conversations with his dog and his cat in his hallucinations. While his dog represents the good, conscientious side of his personality, the cat reflects its dark, instinct-driven side. When Jerry meets the attractive Fiona, strange things start to unfold. Mr. Whiskers, Jerry's cat, gradually urges him to do bad things, which eventually leads Jerry to kill Fiona. When Fiona's lifeless body also starts talking to him, things take an even more gruesome turn. In a mix of comedy and horror, the dog and cat play two opposing roles that are both an important part of Jerry's life.
